Not only does Bill Gothard understand a Womanâs Mindâ˘, he understands GODâs understanding of a Womanâs Mindâ˘.
God created women, so He understands how they think. As a result, He gives an allowance for a woman when she makes a vow. He realizes that it may be only an expression of her mind, will, or emotions, so He makes a provision for her to be released from her vows by her father or by her husband in the day he hears of it. (See Numbers 30.)
This same provision is not allowed for a man. When he says something, it is final, and God will hold him to it. Thus, God warns, "When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it" (Ecclesiastes 5:4).
Is this a âwomanâs mind,â Bill, or a legal understanding of a contract?
