After seeing so many, let me kind here, uhm, questionable posts about women from men and women, I must say, I can never imagine myself being with a man who doesn’t support feminism (aka: equality, and a little thing called common sense).

Do not confuse accepting yourself with stopping your own growth–whether it’s personal, spiritual, social, whatever growth you may be searching for. Do not stop growing as a person thinking that it means you are accepting yourself. Accept yourself for the things you cannot change and do not have control over. You can accept yourself and still continue to grow. Accepting yourself doesn’t mean you accept where you are and then just stop; it means accepting where you are and how you got there and appreciating it for what it is, and then taking all of that to continue moving forward.

At the doctor's office in the waiting room, and I sneezed and the man sitting across from me from said, “Alhumdulillah.” 😊 I love fellow Muslims (and/or non-Muslims who have knowledge about Islam) who do things like that! Saying “Alhumdulillah” when someone sneezes or saying “Assalaamu alaikum”—like, just now! A hijabi just walked out, so we both smiled and said Salaam. 💕 I don't know, it just makes my heart feel happy when people do things like that(:
