(Unfinished hurt/comfort / angst)

Evan's breath hitched as he felt the bed shift besides him, a confused mumble leaving the American's lips.

"Ev?" The name was dragged out in Marcel's tired voice, a hand coming out from underneath the blanket to swat around for the Canadian. He hit his mark when he gently patted Evan's soaked cheek.

He flinched a little upon feeling Marcel's hand, but relaxed as a thumb rubbed against him. "What's the matter?" Marcel yawned out, turning his head to look at him, sleepy eyes squinting through the dark.

"I-I- I," Evan breathed out, closing his eyes. "I- I got into- into a fight," he answered, a sob threatening passed his lips. "I think- I think I got Brock killed!" he exclaimed, covering his face with his hands as he felt Marcel flinch his hand back.

"What??" He asked, sitting up and turning on the bedside lamp. He finally got a good look at Evan and he cringed a bit. "What happened?"

-"Wow. That's racist."

-"We're no longer a minority squad, we're a minority couple."

-Evan spends a good 25 hours in minecraft making his boyfriend a giant castle- complete with moat, cannons, and a working restone drawbridge (which he bribed Brian to make for him, but still).

-Marcel and Evan have matching silk robes, the dramatic ones that you'd see in a murder mystery where the wife was the one who poisoned her husband and is pretending to grieve- those ones.

-Marcel hates traffic, but being stuck in rush hour is bearable with Evan riding shotgun, strumming a shitty dollarstore ukulele that they keep in the car just for this reason

-They both like watching shitty crime shows on cable tv, and will spend lazy days snuggling on the couch under a heated blanket and yelling at the television

-Brownies. Evan makes the best brownies, with extra chocolate chips and gooey caramels. Marcel will lick the goddamn bowl c l e a n, then the spoon, then he'll kiss any leftover batter from Evan's lips

-They probably have a dozen pair of sunglasses shoved in the glove compartment, just because they both are prone to losing them

-Marcel buys the cheesiest, sappiest Valentine's day cards he can; and fills the envelopes with little sentimental things (a napkin from the diner they went to on their first date, a ticket to Evan's first concert, little love notes between the two written on scrap paper and the backs of bills)

-They both like football a lot, and Anthony likes to spoil his boyfriend- he saves up for superbowl tickets and a signed jersey for Brock to wear at the game (he takes many, many pictures)

-Their go to date night spot is a local bakery that makes the best canoli, and it stays open late so they sit and talk for hours and people watch, hands held over the table

-Anthony has never gotten into a fight, but Brock has in fact decked a guy who said some rather homophobic remarks to the two of them on the street. Anthony managed to break up the fight, and patch up his husband back home (and kiss him senseless for being so brave)

-They wear their wedding rings on necklaces, just because it's easier to keep track of them (the rings are engraved with sweet nothings on the inside of the bands)

-Their favorite movies to watch together are Indiana Jones; they'll quote the films day and night, and no, it never ever gets annoying

I highkey ship Marcel/Evan and idk why but its freaking adorable. I also like hardcore ship delitoonz as well. What do you think about MarcelxEvan tho?

I think the Marcel and Evan ship is really cute because Marcel tends to have a short temper when it comes to his patience, it’s lovable though, and Evan is our resident adorable shithead that would constantly tease him just to get a rise out of him. I think it’s great.
