I stepped through the emergency evac portal hurriedly, the best way to get away from the now hazardous dig site. 

I felt myself feel dizzy as I stepped through. That didn't normally happen with portals, even emergency ones.  I tripped, like a nardle, falling fallwards. I looked up, and felt grazzed. This was not Hospital Earth.
