A couple recent projects have gotten the tape treatment, while others sound better remaining in the computer. I have done extensive listening tests and feel confident in stating that one doesn't sound better than the other. Rather, each sound really good and it's nice to be able to entertain mixdown options. The sound difference is surprisingly minimal - unless smashing the tape with high levels. Either way, this is fun and I'm exited to do more tape mixdowns!
