*Buggy was wandering alone in the halls, she’s trying to search for a missing brown kitten she had just befriended*

*She turns the corner and sees Basi in the hallway as well*

Oh Heyo! How you doin pal? Have you seen a small kitten around here at all? It’s small, brown and very tired most of the time somehow….

Basi blinked, a slight jump in their shoulders as they look over as well. There was a bit of unusual nervousness about them as they reached and turned their chair to face Buggy

"Haven't seen any sort of kitten I can't say, I was uh. I'm not lost but, I ended up over here and I don't know where the nearest elevator is."

Basi says the thing about not being lost a little to fast and a little to frantic.

"But yeah, no kitten, just, lots of stairs."

A disgruntled expression crosses their face.

Hey, Basi, if you want to see, uh. Approximately a billion rabbits, you can swing by my office? Help.

"...how?"

Their very confused, but their on their way.

Basi practically vibrates in place, curling up in their chair on their phone to type back.

--JIANGSHI! How's your trip? You coming back soon? Are your mob of cousins behaving? Anyone ask about me? I'm not sick anymore!--

Gorgon looks over at the source of the slight squeaking and smiles softly to herself turning her office chair slightly to talk to her child.

"What's got you all wound like a top sweetie?"

"Jiangshi remembered how to use emails! I'm DEMANDING they catch me up on everything that's happening over there, right now."

Ah, that would do it.

"Well, tell Jiangshi I said Hi."

"Will do momma!"

Junior Agent Basilisk did Not get Lost. That would imply they had forgotten something and their memory is one of the many notable traits they excel in. They got, distracted, led astray, and maybe a bit turned around because of it. They weren't LOST lost, they just, didn't know where the nearest elevator was, and it was almost time to go home, and they might be a little bit antsy about the idea of accidentally getting left behind somehow. Yes they knew how to get home themselves and often did make the trip on their own when no one was looking but still. They weren't supposed to travel alone when it was dark. Man why does this place have so many stairs and so few elevators?

Meanwhile, Gorgon has in fact noted and become very, concerned, about the lack of 12 year old. Yes- Basi being quite independent was FAR from new, they had long since learned how to take care of themself most days due to Gorgon's own busy schedule and boredom from just sitting in her office with her, and it's not like much or any harm could come to them in the agency, especially considering they could throw things with their brain and had very much had several in case of kidnapping talks between herself and Mrs. Bei. But, complete radio silence was unusual, and not being around to state if they were coming home or going to stay with an approved closer friend of family was very very very unusual, unheard of because it got them in trouble unusual. She worried at her lip with her teeth, unsure if she should start wandering though the agency herself or go looking and potentially miss Basi making it back.
