I think one of my very favorite things about Basil is if you're just a regular person he's like 'I DUN WANNA DEAL WITH YOO NO YOU CANNOT HAVE A TELEVISION CHANNEL RESERVED' but if you're rich, prevalent in 'good society' or in any way someone he actually admires or that has authority over him he immediately goes to the 'OH YES HERE HAVE THE MOST PERFECT OF MEALS AND THE SOFTEST OF SHEETS AND I'LL CHECK IN EVERY TWENTY SECONDS TO MAKE SURE YOU'RE ACTUALLY STILL HERE' and just general boot licking.
