I’m looking for a dice rec for my character. He’s a half elf paladin who is strictly noncombatant. He once killed an innocent and hasn’t forgiven himself. He never wants to repeat his past sins. He focuses on protecting the party and always tries to use diplomacy instead of combat.
Ooooh. See, I associate paladins with golds, pale blues, whites–you know, standard angelic color palette. A bit of that. But your guy has a troubled past, a darkness hanging over him. So, I would go with Chessex black gold leaf–shimmering gold over black: mourning, sadness, but with a promise of hope for redemption in the future.
Just for another opinion, I'm a fervent Commander player and agree that Partmer has no place in a standard legal set.

FWIW I appreciate things like the latest TableTop intro. It shows that you're still human and are willing to be up front and open with your audience about problems and mishaps and that you respect us enough to understand that sometimes that stuff happens.
Thanks! I work reasonably hard to write interesting and entertaining intros, and I have to admit that this one, which was entirely improvised, is my favorite one from the entire season.
