I challenged my friend to writing something outside of what we usually write, and we went with the theme of being suggestive. Since I’ve been focusing on my Aion fanfictions lately, I decided to write an excerpt between the main characters of The Bastard Daeva’s Self-Destructive Ways.
Noir’s face immediately brightened with a smile. “Deadres!”
Deadres hummed in acknowledgement and asked, “Are you injured?”
“Nope!” Noir patted his own chest, “I didn’t even get a scratch.”
The gladiator looked doubtful, so Noir rolled up his sleeves to show his unmarred arms and stomped his feet with a reassuring smile. “See? I’m completely fine. You can trust me.”
When Deadres still didn’t look convinced, Noir’s smile became mischievous and he reached for his robe. “Or maybe,” he said suggestively as he made of slow show of taking off his outer cloak, “I should strip for you to see?”
He waited for the other to get annoyed, to huff in irritation and stalk away with a swish of a snow-white sleeve, but to Noir’s astonishment, Deadres reached out and pulled Noir’s clothes back over the chanter’s shoulders.
“Later,” Deadres said after he straightened the robe. Then, he turned and began walking back down the mountain.
Flabbergasted, Noir stared after him, too stunned to do anything other than watch him go with an open mouth.
