Sad headcanon:  Between the end of high school and enrolling in the Academy, Josuke dealt with some pretty nasty depression stemming from his PTSD.  Mostly, he was mad he wasn’t sleeping/getting better, and he spent a month living on Okuyasu’s couch.

Happy headcanon:Josuke and Holly get along famously.  Every few months, they’ll meet in the middle and spend a day shopping.  Jotaro tells them both to give each other his regards.

Random headcanon:Josuke loves wearing skirts, and spends most of his days off in them.
