Halloween cauldron contents update as of the start of August!
For anyone who has no idea what I’m talking about, I make plushies for the neighborhood kids to have in addition to candy for Halloween, and I store them in a cauldron

I've always wanted to make more of these but they demand so much more time and attention than my other plushies.
To achieve the furry effect, I use a delicate, thin mohair combined with regular yarn to add bulk. The wings are especially intricate, requiring sewing, gluing, and wiring. The nose is sculpted and hand painted while the eyes need to be glued and clamped down. The glue needs like 24 hours of drying time.
Even with these challenges, I’m determined to revisit this design and find a way to simplify the process.
