#marketFriday sharing another one of my posts on HIVE. This one was from a year ago. It turns out that last year was actually a better year than now. Hmmm... such challenges we have faced since 2020 started. It's just the first quarter.

Now we're entering the second quarter. I pray constantly for things to be better each day. It's the third week of lockdown. Next week will be the Lenten Season here. Time for more reflection and prayers.

#BatanesTour day three. Onwards to the northenmost inhabited island of the country… Itbayat Island.  I have to admit I knew little about this island until my daughter brought my attention to it. She was adamant that we explore Itbayat since we'll be in Batanes anyway. Why not huh? Here's a compilation of my short vid clips while on the boat ride to the island. Glad I'm not seasick at all. It was a rather long ride (2-3 hours), and it's not exactly a comfy boat ride. But the view was wow! Esp. when we were approaching the island. More on our island adventure next time... ta-tah! ^_^

#BatanesTour day two. Exploring & walking around Sabtang Island. Highlights of the tour are the walking tour of barangays where we found stone houses. We even got to try out the native attire for photo opp. There's Chamantad View Point where you'll find hills, like the ones in Austria, as per our tour guide. I'm happy to have reached the peak point. Yey! Then, our last stop was Morong Beach, where we found the natural stone arch. In this area was where we had our lunch before heading back to port to go back to the main island of Batan.

The boat ride home was more pleasant, thankfully. This was just a sneak preview of what we'd experience for the almost three hours of boat ride to Itbayat. That will come next. Stay tuned.. ta-tah! ^_^

#BatanesTour day two. Boat ride to the island of Sabtang. It’s located on the south of the main island of Batan. This video is on my daughter’s YouTube channel.  It was a 30-minute boat ride. The island of Sabtang is pretty small. We spent half a day walking around exploring villages, taking photos, and seeing some notable places. I will be sharing more next time. Ta-tah! ^_^

#BatanesTour day one. That wraps up our guided tour. And I fell asleep without writing anything on here. LOL! Hey, I needed to rest a bit. Life does get in the way. I love lighthouses.. on postcards & in person. We rushed to climb it as the venue will be closed for a private anniversary celebration. I'm glad we got there in time. I even shot a 360 degree video while atop. Perhaps I'll share that here next time. 'Tis the second lighthouse I climbed. And surely, it won't be the last. More stories coming... ta-tah! ^_^
