So apparently my school had this one huge photo taking of my whole batch that was held at the Sentrum (It’s like this huge school gym that could fit at least two our more grade levels. My school’s really big). It was announced in the school bulletin. Now I think that there is the fault of my class and the fault of the school and our class adviser.
The thing that happened was that two classes (along with mine) were not included or not properly informed about the whole photo taking thing that was held in that afternoon. During that time, my class was divided into two: CLCE students (Christian studies/Christology) and iCARE students (Catechists) who were in a different room. After Christology class was already my dismissal so I was fixing my stuff, but then a classmate of mine came back saying that everybody was at the Sentrum having a huge picture taking without us. Our Christology Prof was not really from the Integrated School so even he had no idea about this.
We went to the Sentrum only to find out that it was already over. One of the Discipline Officers tried cheering us up by saying that we won’t be seen with so many students anyway. But the thing is, that WE, my batch, is the first batch of senior highschool students in the school. We were the very first batch in the country since it was only implemented back in 2012. If it didn’t really mattered then just call up all of the STEM students to pose as representatives. Iistorbuhin pa nila ang mga HUMSS at ABM students.
Now the thing that I was really upset about was that we weren’t informed properly making us miss the photo taking. People were already leaving the while me and my classmates were just standing there by the Sentrum’s gate. It was one of the most embarrassing thing that ever happened.
I don’t know why but I feel like I took the whole thing too personal. I got so mad. It made me feel like they forgot about us and nobody bothered looking for us. Not the D.Os. and not even our adviser who was also advising two other classes. I just found it really unbelievable that they didn’ t even bothered checking the attendance, if every class was there. I do think that there were times where my school could have been a bit irresponsible, but something like that was something that I didn’ t expected to happen. Meanwhile, I feel like our adviser either really hated us or was just that irresponsible and forgot to check up on us. Either way, she’s probably the worst adviser that I ever had.
I’m so sorry guys but this just really made me pissed. I was trying to hold my anger as much as I could while writing this.
