For the unpopular opinion thing: (Sorry if you answered this already <3) All of the hate that Derrick is getting is totally uncalled for. He has been nothing but totally sweet to his fans and the hate he gets pains me.

I genuinely like Sharon. Like I totally get why people don't but I personally relate to her and think she is super talented. I also think she has gotten less problematic recently. (Idk I could be wrong but I do like her)

And since I'm awake in the middle of the night with stomach cramps, thanks for the distraction, too.

I've been writing fanfic since I was about ten or eleven. I used to spend my hour long bus ride to and from school daydreaming myself into the books I was reading, and then one day decided I could write those stories down, not just imagine them. The first long story I ever actually wrote was an AU of the Liza, Bill and Jed mysteries by Peggy Parish. Involving dragons, h/c, and a gloriously self-indulgent Mary Sue character named Kimmy with waist-length blue-black hair.

Until I was 16, I lived on ten acres eighteen miles from the nearest town, in a mobile home. We had rabbits, pigs, goats, geese, chickens, and I actually had my own pony when I was little.

In pre-school and kindergarten I thought the teachers went into a closet and deactivated at the end of the day.

I was afraid of the dark until I was a teenager. Living so far out in the country meant that the dark was really dark and I was always convinced mountain lions were going to come eat me.

I wrote a fan letter to Tamora Pierce when I was eleven, and she wrote back! I still have it.

I've been to Scotland, Switzerland, France and Germany, but never to Canada or Mexico.

Until I moved to Philadelphia when I was 23, the largest town I'd ever lived in had 2000 people in it.

I didn't get my driver's license until I was 22, but I got my first car when I was 20. My grandfather left me his when he died, but it took me a long time to find someone to teach me to drive it!

I was raised Catholic and when I was a little girl I wanted to be a priest more than anything. I was devastated when I found out I couldn't be.

I am an utter spice wimp. If someone says "it's not that spicy" or "it's really mild" that's still too much for me. I've only been able to handle mustard within the last couple of years, and any kind of salsa is out of the question. But I love Indian food, even if I have to get it ridiculously mild and even then only eat it rarely, with plenty of milk.
