Happy 26th Birthday Norman!!!

I truly enjoyed this beautiful day even more than I have in the past. It's always a nice and bittersweet thing to think so much about Norman and all that he went through and was <3 it hurts and it heals and I am grateful for all that it teaches me every time. This character has been with me for almost three years and as each year becomes better than the last, as I mature and grow up, as I thrive and live life the way its meant to be lived, I am reminded of Norman and his smiles during hard times, his tendencies to help those who needed it, the way that he loved those around him and just his everyday quirks that make me smile and it gives me even more hope for the future ❤️

2017 seems like it was a lifetime ago and in some ways it was. I was a completely different person in the year that Norman died, so different even from 2019 me that I didn't know him yet, but that was the year I really started to live life, as challenging as it might have been. And when it was at its hardest is when Norman came to me, hand out and ready to let me know I wasn't alone and that I could get through it.

I'll never forget that time or the love in my heart for him; the impact he's had on my life. I am forever grateful for the creators of Bates for all they did to bring this beautiful character to life as well as Freddie for embodying him like no one else could. October 14th is a joyous reminder always ❤️

And thank yall for always supporting me and my love for this character, this show, and all things. It means everything and I thank God for everyone of you! Here's to many more celebrations!
