Shoot for the stars bath bomb; a lush product review When you take a girl who has the favourite quote of “the stars would be so proud their atoms created someone like you” you just know they will buy anything both star and bath related. Let me get something straight, i LOVED last years version of shoot for the stars (as you can see here: http://starshine-lush-reviews.tumblr.com/post/133310403722/shoot-for-the-stars-bath-bomb-a-lush-product ) I awaited (kind of) patiently for its return and I was a little upset when I saw the redesigned version of the product I loved. Sadly, the new shoot for the stars had a weaker scent than last years but oh my, it was beautiful once it hit the water. Appearance: 10/10 The golden stars were made of liquid gold and they floated around leaving little trails for ages, it truly was like watching stars shoot across a night sky. And I wanted to wish on every one of them. These stars dissolved into larger golden flecks which floated on top of the water the entire time and along with the finer glitter filled waters there was so much sparkle I felt as though I was a star myself. In appearance, the redesign definitely takes over in my heart. Scent: 5/10 It was so weak and ugh didn't leave a lingering scent at all. The scent was my favourite part of the original and I was disappointed to find such a difference in the potency with this new design. Sad times. Overall: 8/10 Shoot for the stars, your redesign is lovely and the appearance was what dreams are made of but you just didn't smell as good and you made me feel so oily. Which I am not a fan of. Damn cocoa butter. Ingredients: Sodium Bicarbonate, Citric Acid, Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter, PEG-6 Caprylic / Capric Glycerides, Brazilian Orange Oil, Bergamot Oil, Cream of Tartar, Cornflour, Gardenia Extract, Coconut Cream, Water, Almond Oil, Sodium Laureate Sulfate, Laurel Betaine, Lilial, Citronellol, *Linalool, Perfume, Colour 19140, CI19140:1 (natural ingredients) Where can I find it online and how much will I pay? Sincerest apologies for my lack of attention towards this blog, for a while my life was so big that the Internet was somewhere I didn't spend much time at all. And then my life was so small that I couldn't bear to get out of bed, let alone enjoy showering or bathing. But now I am back, or will be in about a week or so since I've just placed an order for Christmas goodies online! Thank you for bearing with me throughout this slump, and keep an eye out for some Christmas product reviews as soon as I get my paws on my package! Much love ❤️
