Pottick’s House
Weekend in rainy Bath
Famously, Jane Austen disliked Bath, both when she visited it in 1799 and when she moved there with her family in 1801. But Bath loves Jane
Jane Austen, iconic hater.
Emily Temple lists things Jane Austen hated in honor of an exhibition titled “The Most Tiresome Place in the World: Jane Austen & Bath.”
A new tattoo! I took the opportunity to take some photos of it next to a statue of Mozart, to which i visited his home country and museum some years ago, and where he spent much of his adulthood, the imperial capital of Vienna. Not to mention, with the background of the horseshoe wier famous for featuring the scene of Javert’s end to his life, in the movie adaption of Les Misérables. The name of the bridge is Pulteney Bridge, should anyone wish to visit.
In honesty, Mozart here does remind me of dear Nicky. Apologies, the images of the statue aren't edited yet as I need to revise my photo editing software subscription as I don't like the one I'm using anymore. Though this filter on the photos of my arm I took today created a huge "V," I kept it and I am running with the Vampire Lestat aesthetic I have, hahaah.
The tattoo in question, is of a spell used in Howl's Moving Castle! My all-time favourite movie, and the reason I discovered my interest in anime and manga, and then such art style has inspired much of the artwork I've done, especially the ones purely manga style inspired, as a comic book artist.
I also finally met Mario and Luigi. The real peak moment of the day. 😂
Bath so far..
