June 2020. Magickal oils. 💙💙 For me, magickal oils are about my ‘sweet’ smelling Rose oil. For many Wiccans, magickal oils are an important part of ritual and magickal practice. Working with oils allows a practitioner to connect with the energies of nature in order to initiate change. 💙💙 Plant derived scented oils are powerful for ritual and spellwork as they contain the magickal properties of the plant/flowers/herbs from which they are made. Also, oils possess the power of scent which helps the mind enter into a different state and become more connected with the invisible powers of the universe. These powers can then be directed to bring about positive changes and fulfil desires. 💙💙 Rose oil, in particular, smells ‘sweet’: magickally, it is effective for love, sex, peace, harmony, beauty, ‘letting go’ self confidence, ‘creativity and protection.
