Rant on transgender people & bathrooms.

To the people who have a problem with transgender people using the bathroom of the sex they choose to express, all everyone wants is to feel valid & safe. Does it really matter that you see a boy that has to sit down to pee? Or a girl who maybe has a bulge? This doesn’t change the fact that these men & women are using the correct bathroom to them (& every person except you). Do you really want these people to use the bathroom of their biological sex? Do you really want some hot lady coming into the boys bathroom? Wouldn’t you stop her? Or some handsome boy walking into the girls bathroom? They risk the chance of being arrested.... you don’t know who is transgender or not until you see something you don’t want to & get offended. This topic was brought up at work today & I was so hurt by the ignorance I was seeing. Who cares if some girls have a penis & some boys have a vagina? WHO FUCKING CARES?!

Bathrooms

What some people don’t seem to get about the whole bathroom issue and transgender people entering the bathroom that makes them comfortable (and not dysphoric): When they are discussing trans people (typically they seem to be purely discussing amab people, but that is another discussion entirely) in the bathroom with their wives, their daughters, their sisters (again, never talking about afab people with their sons, husbands or brothers), is that we are someones daughter, someones sister as well...
