Every time I see something positive about trans-gender bathroom equality, I'm tagging it #savealife #bathroomequality because the one thing no one seems to realize is that by forcing trans people to use the bathroom according to their birth gender is risking their lives. Trans people can possibly DIE if these laws keep getting passed, because I'm a bi white woman and I'm terrified of bigots. (Mostly cis white men of a Christian religion.) I can only imagine how a trans person feels when they're cornered and forced to use the wrong restroom. It could be fine. But I've seen enough shit in my daily life to know it's probably one of the most dangerous things ever to force millions of people to come out like that. And it makes me sick.
