here's the batim MotW party! campaign officially(?) named In the Business of Death. @ask-buddy-lewek, @raggedyannedoll, and @theluckoftheclaws (Bill, Constance, and Dot respectively) all commissioned me to draw their characters in the same style as Brant (which was just a drawing i did for fun)! So now we have a matching set :]

thoughts and opinions on thomas connor?
OH, THIS IS AN ASK ALRIGHT /pos
Thomas. I have a LOT of thoughts about Thomas.
Thomas is an interesting character, especially his human/pre ink version, especially in terms with his morals and the way he acts, he's clearly torn over the situation with the Ink Machine, stating in TLO that he really should destroy it but never does. He even goes so far as to liken the Machine to a child, presumably his own child and that justifies him not destroying it, because he can't just abandon his child. There's also the implications that he's being affected by the Ink, which adds more factors into why he can't just destroy it and why he can't explain to Allison why he decided to take his job back.
I think it's interesting as well, how much he wants to get the Machine back and, not just him, but other employees at GENT as well, he talks about the Machine rightfully being his in DCTL, that it was his design, his creation, Allison's letter to Joey in C5 shows Thomas still being upset over someone stealing one of his old inventions and seeing as the Ink Machine is shown and outright told to be Thomas' invention that he has an attachment to, it would make sense that it is the invention Allison mentions in the letter. Then in BATDR, Thomas' memo states that he "needs to keep [his] machine safe" because it's the "key to so many discoveries", whether or not that's him being affected by the Ink or not, I'm not sure, but it's interesting.
He's caring too, he seems to be a caring man who is clearly VERY guilty over what he's done, trying to keep Allison away from it in DCTL, not wanting her to be apart of it because he cares about her and doesn't want to see her get hurt.
TL;DR: He's a very interesting guy who struggles with a LOT of mental shit, he is trying his best though.
Since I still have no asks yet how about w do this fun game!
Comment a BATIM characters name and I'll fill this out! Please send in a character I am bored help T-T
TLO & DTCL novel spoilers btw… I’ve been thinking about this
While Constance was blindly running through the underground tunnels she was stopped by a “long eared thing,” that was “possibly some kind of dog,” was that really buddy down there??? It HAS to be because what other kind tunnel-dwelling creature with long ears saves someone from falling to their death? He keeps to himself and hides like he did at the end of DCTL too.
That also must mean wherever the machine goes he does too? He was first in the New York studio, but is in the meatpacking factory in Atlantic city during TLO. I’m just wondering, why? Does he get sucked back into the machine when it’s moved or what? LOL
