The infamous Batla Encounter took place on september 19, 2008 at Batla house in Delhi .DCP sanjeev Kumar spearheaded the encounter against Indian Mujahideen (IM) terrorists . It is one of the famous encounter headed by police in indian police history . Director Nikkhil Advani has been working on this project since last three years . Ritesh Shah and Nikkhil Advani recently finalized their script .Yesterday they locked the main lead of the film .Emmay Entertainment the producer of the film announced John Abraham as the main lead in the film . He will play the role of DCP sanjeev Kumar . Nikhil advani is one the best director when it comes to tell a real incident based story . He justified the story of Airlift which was based on the real life incident .
