IVY IS MARRIED???? TO A GUY????? SOME SHMUCK FROM ARKHAM'S STAFF?
And she has 2 (TWO) kids???????
Is this a time skip? How long ago did she rehabilitate? Tf.
Weren't she and Harley doing bank robberies and sjit earlier in the season?? Or was that late season 2?
She says that it was years or a long time ago. HOW LONG!
Oh she can't have kids. That socks. Girl gonna make me cry. Fuck.
I'm placing a bet. I bet it's the husband.
i love the direction they’re taking the batman’s foil concept like the dark knight tried to make a point about like human nature and inherent darkness or whatever but so far this specifically seems to be about vigilantism/justice/power/trust/lone wolfism its interesting. and i just watched the pcd video about peeping toms and he included the scene where bruce spied on selina as an example which is entirely valid bcus like no matter what it is still voyeurism and what he was talking about but i do think that wasn’t necessarily like just ‘oh we have a sexy actress lets use this as an excuse to get her naked’ specifically because she keeps her top on i feel like they might have been trying to reinforce the fact bruce is like a weird fucking person who is more like the riddler than we the audience should be comfortable with. esp since they cast the riddler as like a reddit incel dude
DID RICHARD MF GRAYSON JUST SAY HIS SPECIALTY WAS PEANUT BUTTER AND SARDINE PIE????????!?!?!?! Hun...plz no.
Watching batman the animated series for the first time in it's entirety (as someone with passing knowledge of the franchise and growing interest in the fandom)
Ep: cat and the claw part 1
AND i think the stark difference it has to any noir story despite it being v clearly like a noir tribute is the fact that bruce is obsessive takes initiative where classically the detective is reluctant and dragged into things + bruce actually trusts his cop confidant where usually in noirs the cop character is casually corrupt/uncaring/out for the wrong cause which in turn validates the necessity for the detective character as a counterbalance for justice. i’m interested to see how they play selina as the femme fatale bcus so far she has a very straightforward agenda despite her past while he is the one trying to use her and keep her in the dark which again. flips most noir narratives
assuming they’re not going to be allowed to use the rest of the justice league in the follow up movies i hope bella and bruce get the equivalent of like a clark and bruce dynamic
if there’s no catwoman in the next batman movie then what’s the fucking point? *kicks rocks*
