Slow on the uptake but I just realised the reason Jason has injuries upon coming back but not like, an autopsy organ bag or isn't back to immediately dying from the damage that killed him the first time is because those are not the same injuries. "He wasn't supposed to die" in a meta sense, as in, Superboy Prime wanted Robin to live, as in, he disagreed with the vote to kill him. These aren't the injuries from Jason's death, these are the injuries he would have sustained had he won the poll, the ones from the original Robin Lives panels. Which also explains the coma. Omg
