Watched Batman: The Caped Crusader, Season 2 Ep. 10. Joker is finally introduced, and I like this version of him. Not wanna-be failed comedian--more like, wanna-be Goethe poet. He's not campy nor clownish, not flashy, not theatrical or hammy. This Joker is lonesome, sombre, lackluster, and so in LUUUUV. He seems anhedonic, as if on the wrong anti-depressants (making one feel emotionally flat). Good with those long daggers, slicing to see some bat skin! No doubt this Joker was inspired by the early depictions of him in the comics, and from wonderful Conrad Veidt's silent film "The Man Who Laughs." Joker's got a calm, whispery, sultry, German (?) accented voice---whoa!!

And the gay ambiguity in this episode...holy crap.... The symbolism, the similes, the metaphors, the allegories~!! Dammit, Batman, Joker is trying to tell you he LUVS you~! XD

(My imagined) Joker inner monologue:

"By that magic thread, so That cannot be untied, The dear wanton man, oh He holds me fast: and I Must lie within his magic spell And live where he may go. How great the change, I tell! Love! Love! Let me go!"

In the end, yes, Batman did, in a way, "penetrate" Joker. And it finally made Joker give a big smile. Oh my gosh... X3

I pulled an allnighter to finish this in one sitting- this took 6+ hours because my phone kept glitching, so I drew this in constant fear of loosing progress, but despite that, I got it done :]

I dont know if I managed to write a fic in time- I got this done on Aug 6th and am scheduling it because I have exams, but luckily we got (most of) the 2nd week of August off which means theres a possibility for a fic, but idk as of now.
