Today on my wrist this Novice (Alpina) from the late 30s but more probably from early 40s. Taubert case (Borgel markings). 28mm without crown and with a Novice (Alpina) 635 inside which is actually a Peseux 170. Once it was a very advanced gents watch with shock protection, waterproof case etc. High tech for the period especially in a small size (not like today ;). Looks nice on my big wrist with this vintage SSSR strap.
