Inspired by a sponsored post:
A story of an ai that gets coded all the fixens (like a virtual body, I don’t know) and grows to feel more and more real as time goes on. Developing a friendship with the creator or whoever, learning and believing to understand what it’s like to actual be human.
All in the ai’s pov, so you’re growing attached to them.
Then the third act of the story involves something considered kinda small in the book world but major to the ai character and you.
Like either a power outage that wipes away the ai character or some chat gpt update. Either way the character you know, the one you’re attached to, is gone.
Would it hurt more to end the book with the ai character or seeing the story continue as if it doesn’t matter that they’re gone?
