Car Troubles, Stupidity, and Date Night... Go Fridays~! (1 of 2)
On Wednesday night after I was done hanging out with friends and doing dinner with the family, I decided to spend the night at my Grandmother's house so I could stay in La Habra for the next day. I left my car parked in the driveway over night like I always do, not thinking much about it. Well, Thursday morning I decided I would go to my grandmother's work to get my hair cut as that is what she does. I woke up and took a shower before getting into my car and oops~ no start. Really? So I tried and tried and then just waited for her to pick me up. I was so confused and not sure as to why it would not start, so I decided I would wait for my Uncle to come home to give me a jump. I did not leave anything on though so there is no reason for my battery to not be working. It is always so frustrating when things like this happen to me. After my haircut (of which I posted pictures on here that day.) my grandmother and I went to lunch with the owner of the hair salon and just talked about stuff as well as talking with the restaurant owner (a family friend of ours) about my lame ex-fiance. :/ Awkward turtles but I guess she was curious as the last time we were there we not quite broken up yet. I spent the rest of the evening/night not doing much but hanging out with the family. Friday morning though I woke up a bit before 6Am on accident because my cat was being a butt-head and running around trying to mess with the other cats. Since I was awake anyways I decided to reply to the texts that I got while sleeping, not really expecting any replies to be sent back to me, but I guess I should never assume anything because a moment later Rabbit shot me a text and wanted to hang out, so we did. :D First we headed over to 7-11 where a stranger picked a dollar off the floor and gave it to us saying we dropped it, but we did not so we ended up donating it to the MDA foundation that 7-11 had cards for. It was meant to be apparently. haha Then apparently Rabbit and I were lesbians that day because we went to Panera Bread and the lady at the cash register was totally looking at us like we were lesbians. I'm not sure how I feel about that but Rabbit said she was kind of giving us the stank-eye~! LOL I did not pay much attention, oh well~ nothing wrong with some fake lesbian action? haha jkjk After breakfast Rabbit and I went back to my house to see if my car would start up because we had things to do, you know? So here is where the 'stupidity' of the title comes in... for a while now my car has been on 'E' even though I put gas into it, I was thinking that maybe the floater is broken and it is just not reading how much gas I have correctly. So I did not think all too much about it as I was still driving around and putting in some money here and there. Well, the car would NOT take a jump... and my radio was off so we all thought it was the battery... well, the radio was off because I had forgotten to turn it back on the night previous. After Paul turned it on and noticed that the battery light was not on but the gas light was her basically rolled his eyes and told us to get gas. FML, are you for reals? I felt like such a retard at that moment, how could I have missed that? or not even thought about that? Dude... it happens I suppose. So after getting some gas to the car we picked up Jordan/Joe (Rabbit's Fiance) and head on out again to continue on our retarded adventures for the day~! :D Yay us!
