Futaba was absolutely overjoyed when the battle came to an end. She watched everything go down from her Persona and was gently let down before it disappeared. There was a mixture of emotions showing on her face: elation that this was all over and joy that they all did a good job, and some sadness because there was still that lingering feeling that she hadn’t done a good enough job and too many people got hurt because of her inability to get the weaknesses and such properly analyzed. She tried to emphasis the positive emotions, but it was something that she was going to have to deal with.
Plus, she was also annoyed that people were laughing at Maruki’s situation. For god’s sake the guy got himself hung up by the enemy and ended up getting really hurt and there were some that found it funny?! She would poke fun at people for sure, but usually it was about stuff that didn’t matter. A missed attack that didn’t matter, doing something silly. All of that was poking fun at worthy. This wasn’t, and she was annoyed at it for sure.
There wasn’t much time to really examine all the myriad of emotions she was experiencing, as this world’s Yu came over to her and gave her something strange and told her that this was something that she would be interested in. And interested in it she was. It was some sort of metal cube that radiated yellow light from within it’s core. At first glance she thought maybe it was something that revealed something upon opening it but she couldn’t find any obvious way of doing so.
If that wasn’t enough, she was going to soon be shown the existence of that video that was seemingly damning this world’s Kirijo group and Mitsuru in particular. That was another topic for another time. Now it seemed that everyone was going to be getting the spoils for a well fought and won battle. She was going to leave that to the leader of her group to deal with. For now, her main priority was seeing what this metal cube had in store. Whatever it was, it had to be important, and maybe it was a key to understanding everything that was going on.
