Wei Wuxian flute battle soundtrack when? I need that haunting, heart pounding donghua music 🥺 no dialogue, zombie moans dimmed, just straight up spectral rage and melody and battle beats.
I swear if I could blast that while cleaning, laundry would become a moral reckoning. Mopping? A battle for the soul of my household. Dishes? Consider them exorcised.
battlebard replied to your post “To anyone with Fire Emblem 13, of all the dlc that can be added what...”
The two you should definitely get that are out now are Anna on the Run, which is the only way to get Anna in your party, and Vanguard Dawn, which gives you the Vanguard Brand that lets some one re-class into Ike, essentially. In a couple weeks there will be Ballistician Blitz and the Witch's Trial, which give you items to reclass into the Ballistician and the Witch respectively.
Oops sorry I meant FE 13. FE 14 isn’t released here until May but thank you ^-^
6 (stats over looks): Yes! Absolutely! I think that looking cool is the best way to play, it gives you more satisfaction too when you defeat someone while not even benefitting too much for better stats, and just thanks to your ability/efforts, plus looking cool while doing it instead of a mess of equipment.
8 (dudes played the most together): I think as an overall team, while still playing for the first time i used a lot the Shulk/Dunban/Melia. After the first time, from there on where i mastered the game, i used a lot more often the team of Melia/Riki/Fiora. I still love Shulk and Dunban, but Riki turned out to be so useful with his plethora of ether attacks combined with Melia’s, plus it’s the adorable yet deadly team
edwinflores428 answered: This battle….this single event was the trigger for something huge. The impact that it caused to the world? I would compare it to the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand that helped trigger WWI
Shit... so Blackbeard vs Ace started the One Piece equivalent of WWI?
I think I know what will be happening after Thriller Bark... >:D
tempus-nexus answered: IS Blackbeard the Biggest Bad, though? He certainly seems to be that for the pirate side of things, but there’s also the Marines and the World Government, each of which has its own Big Bads. Blackbeard might not be the true Bigger Bad in One Piece.
I have the funniest feeling I know who the Marines’ Big Bad will be. Granted, I haven’t met the final Admiral (Kizaru?) so my prediction isn’t set in stone, but Sengoku doesn’t give me evil vibes and Aokiji seems pretty grey.
knojas said: Oh this event is gonna kick up some major shit, alright. Just wait and see! Can’t wait for your opinion on the next canon episode, too. This was a very good read! :)
Now I have watched 337 and 338, you were right to heap all the praise on the opening of Thriller Bark. Brook was the easiest recruit to convince. “Join my crew!” “Okay!” xD
battlebard answered: Blackbeard almost certainly the big bad. He’s evil Luffy. And yes, without spoilers, this fight kicks off the single most important event in the entire series so far. You’ve got a little bit to go before that, though.
Ah, I think I see what’s happening here. I’m guessing the role of Big Bad hasn’t become clear yet to all you guys who are caught up? Or that there will be a trio/duo of Big Bads duking it out at the end.
blogquantumreality answered: THIS EP OH MAN. And the way Ace’s hat fluttered to the ground :O Blackbeard is now not just a total bag of dicks, but he’s the most dangerous man on the planet. (>_<) You can tell I really really don’t like Marshall D. Teach, attacking Ace like that!
You don’t like Blackbeard? Ahaha, oh dear. You must gnaw with rage when I’m like: “TeachTeachTeachTeachTeach!” xD
But yes... the fluttering hat. I am not for that. I like Ace too and I am wildly conflicted at the moment. If Blackbeard is responsible for Ace’s death, he will rocket up the villain chart, but I will probably hate him for a bit.
x-chick303 answered: I love how Ace rejected him in the dub he said, “You can your offer and shove it up your- (Van Auger shoots him)… you get the idea.”
Hahaha, I think I actually like that better! xD
greatninjadragon said: And thus starts the catalyst for some major heavy stuff to happen. IMO calling the yami yami no mi the most evil fruit might not be because of the wielders attitude but because darkness tends to be associated with evil as part of superstition or certain beliefs. Or it could be called evil in the same way certain powers or items in works of fiction are so overpowered and unfair, many fans call them ‘evil’. Though Blackbeard definitely does make the devil fruit look evil.
Ah, so your interpretation is that either darkness is associated with evil and superstition and the fruit itself is not necessarily evil, or that its powers are so great it appears evil because they’re so destructive.
That makes sense too. Darkness is not itself inherently evil. You could eat the fruit accidentally and, I suppose, do good with it if you figured out how. Blackbeard chooses not to. :)
deesorceress answered: Oda once said that Blackbeard is his favorite historical pirate, so it makes sense that he would make Blackbeard’s namesake an awesome threat. Oda like to make alot of references to real life pirates.
Oda said that, eh? That bodes well. If he likes Blackbeard then he’s not likely to nerf his fictional Blackbeard in the future! ^_^
sparktehfox said: And now… The wait! Heh, don’t you forget what was said back in Enies about fruits, either!
I’m cool with the wait, if Thriller Bark is in the way. (Brook is awesome).
And as for the fruits, I guess that means Blackbeard can’t absorb fruit powers because more than one fruit will make you explode. Damn. There goes the crackpot theory. xD
half-man-half-lime said: It’s certainly a very, very dangerous power. I think I agree with GreatNinjaDragon, there are definitely devil fruit powers that, because of what they’re capable of, are “villain powers”, as you’ll see in the future. But I also like what you said.
I dunno, I guess I just like the thought of the “devils” inside the fruit having agency. Kind of like the One Ring. Maybe some fruits are more powerful than others and can ‘choose’ their wielders. Absolutely no evidence for it, though. I just thought it might be cool. xD
supramp9000 said: The power of the darkness fruit is as dangerous as it is mysterious. Even though you don’t see much from him, you can trust that the power to absorb everything is a force to be reckoned with indeed, as you will see in the near future.
Ah, crap. Have I chosen another one of those characters you hardly see? At least he’s one of the Bigger Bads and will crop up again and again, rather than being confined to one arc.
celelorien answered: oh jeez oh jeez you are going to have such a fit later about Blackbeard and his powers. Not in a bad way, I think. But this is definitely one of those posts we’re all going to point to when you get further along. XD
Ohohohoho... and now I am excited to see how that battle played out and what shit kicked off after Ace and Blackbeard practically destroyed that island! >:D
meheartonepiece said: I’m just surprised that Blackbeard has any chest hair left after being on fire for like 5 minutes XDDDDD But oH MAN THIS EP IS HHNNNGGG the consequences of this will make a bigger impact on the world than anyone could have predicted, so stay tuned ;)
Also, I remember there being a small flashback panel in a later arc showing that Blackbeard was in WB’s crew even around or over 10 years ago, so he must have been a good and dedicated actor to avoid suspicion for all that time. Unwilling kudos (¬_¬)
Also I love Ace’s attacks, especially the firefly one. “Oh look pretty green lights- OH ENEL EVERYTHING IS ON FIREE” XDDDDDDD And creating a literal sun is impressive, u go Ace XDDD Man, I just love Ace >w<
LOL! Blackbeard’s chest hair is so thick Ace’s fire only singed off the top layer. Maybe it’s deliberate. Like a stab-proof vest?
Blackbeard was in WB’s crew for over ten years? Damn, that man is patient!
I am with you on Ace’s attacks. They are beautiful. Watching him fight is like watching an artist at work. I am so conflicted right now. Two of my absolute faves are duking it out and I don’t think I’ll like it if Ace ends up dead because of it.
alluneedisanime said: That was such a good explanation Of that episode. Message me when you’ve caught up, if you haven’t already… You’re in a for ride. I believe that Teach is the weakest D out there just because he was a great power i don’t think it makes him strong. He’s weak because he doesn’t understand the concept of friendship, he killed his own crew mate who he’s been traveling with for God knows how long just to steal a devil fruit, who knows maybe if he asked for the devil fruit it would have been given to him like when buggy and shanks were apprentices on Rogers ship, no one cared about the Devil Fruit. I think when it concerns the D you’re strong if you have a strong will I feel as if teach became strong by playing dirty.
Thank you! I will message you when I’ve caught up. ^_^
And that is some interesting chat about the D initial. So you’re of the opinion that to be a D is to have a strong will. I guess you’re right that Blackbeard does have a strong will and big dreams and that nothing will stop him going for it, but... he is different from the other Ds I’ve met so far.
Hmm... that’s really intriguing. Now you’ve got me thinking. :)
tempus-nexus said: Interestingly, the Yami Yami No Mi is a Logia fruit, but it doesn’t grant the shapeshifting and physical immunity other Logias have. In fact, there’s strong evidence that it makes the user /more/ vulnerable to attacks. It’s a fucking weird fruit.
That is really weird. Then why is it a Logia fruit and not one of the other classifications? (Zoan and.... argh, I forgot the other one!)
slaxtheraven answered: I don’t like Ace.
Then does that make you a member of Team Blackbeard, or do you despise them both? xD
