I just want to say that it’s a travesty that Fen and Kady haven’t got to interact in the show.
Both have been outsiders looking in. Fen as a commoner at court and Kady as a hedge witch at Brakebills.
Both have taken a backseat to their own story. Fen stood aside and supported Eliot/Margo as High King. Kady tells us she feels like a supporting character, everything she does is for someone else i.e. Penny, Julia, her mother
Both had their futures altered by their families. Fen was promised to be married a king and never got a say in it. Kady was forced into working for Marina because of her mother.
Now they are discovering who they are outside of relationships with other people and learning how to be in a position of power. (high king and hedge witch hbic)
Family, blood and chosen, is their #1 priority
Underneath Kady’s warrior exterior is a cinnamon roll and underneath Fen’s cinnamon roll exterior is a warrior. Fen would help Kady be more vulnerable and Kady would help Fen be more assertive.
Bonus:
Just imagine Fen teaching Kady about knives.
