I'm getting ready for the tournament on Saturday, and I've been going over my list on Battlescribe and comparing it to the point values in the codex. The point values for the sorcerer's Force weapons don't match up between the two. Battlescribe says that a Force Axe costs 10 points, and a Force Stave and Sword cost 8. The codex on the other hand says that an Axe costs 16, a Stave 14, and a Sword 12. So which is right? Was there a errata that changed the value of Force weapons or is Battlescribe just going nuts?

It’s been some time since I got anything significant done on 40K Companion. Christmas, New Year and work has got in the way. But I’ve recently got a little time in on it and made some fairly useful changes. And now I have a 40K Companion Example for you! (more…)

For some time now I’ve been working on a new web-based tool for players of 40K. It’s based the fact that there are now masses of rules, and how I struggle with that – remembering everything including Guard. Orders, Warlord traits, formation rules, unit rules, weapon rules, pyskers, deployment rules, etc. So, 40K Companion is born. (more…)

Does anyone know the name of the program that is like Battlescribe, but specifically for 40k? I’ve seen it around, but I can’t remember the name of it, and google is not helping me.
For those of you out there who use Battlescribe, I've just put the finishing touches to a Dogs of War data file, if anyone is collecting them or wants to use them in games...
Just drop me a message and I will ping it over :)
As I go over my selections for an upcoming game of War Hammer 40K i begin to notice more and more errors with the new Space Marine listings in Battle Scribe. For example it's telling me that the Space Marine Sgt I gave a power weapon (sword) to is actually using a thunder hammer, and that my 5 man squad of devastators are jump infantry.
Has anyone ever used Battlescribe? It's a really nifty app for you phone or computer to help build army lists quickly, contains everything in the codex and convenient!
