SRM/LRM realization
So nice as my 1/72 sheet styrene and tank chassis model above is the face of the launcher broke. I used very thin styrene so even making a replacement the glue may eat or distort the edges. Since I've now got a resin printer I began measuring the mini again to make an even more accurate replacement. I finally got down to the treads and came to a mind changing revelation: Who ever did the tank designs and artwork must have loved construction equipment. Unless that skirting is some how very articulate these things have NO/NEGLIGIBLE suspension. They're bulldozer/excavator type crawlers! With the recent binge of youtube videos of a repair shop fixing dozers the huge sprockets and idlers right on the ground along with the sloped area running completely front to back checks out. They must be on rollers that are either small like dozers or same size as sprocket idler like the J-27.
