For once her laptop wasn’t in hand, just a simple book. An old book on Altean engineering that Pidge found in Allura’s personal collection that she’d been given free reign to. The Paladins all had the day off to relax and recharge, so of course that meant Pidge was still doing something remotely intellectual. And when she reached what she thought was going to be the empty lounge, of course it was a pleasant twist that her lion was lounging on the couch. Of course Pidge was going to sit with her.
They’d all been traveling and fighting a lot lately. No mission, whether diplomatic or dangerous, was going to be completely safe. The lions may be laced with quintessance and virtually indestructible, but that didn’t mean they didn’t need rest periods too to recover just like their Paladins did. As soon as she’d sat down, Pidge’s hand was reaching to bury in her lion’s fur and give her some much deserved attention. She knew what her lion liked her to do, so it was done. Soon enough her fingers curled to start scratching the crown of her head and smile as her lion reacted accordingly.
“You can go back to sleep girl, I didn’t mean to disturb you. I’m just reading for awhile.”
