Love. It was foreign to Andy despite having such loving parents. He had closed himself off to this feeling because he felt it was a weakness and not a strength. Love made people act silly and while Andy could be quite silly, it was because he was being a jack ass and not because he was head over heels with someone and being the type to not open up to people, he rarely had any romantic relationship and often times they ended badly with both parties hurt. Usually it was out for personal gain and not because he truly liked the person.
This? This was different. He was developing some sort of affection for Vincent and it disgusted him. Feelings. Andy hated feelings. They made you vulnerable and Andrew always wore armour around his heart but a heart he still had and the heart wants what it wants.
His fingers toyed with the pen in his hand as he obnoxiously clicked the point in and out, making an annoying repetitive noise. It was all because he was nervous. Vinny was a few feet away from him doing something on his laptop in the dark room and the only light source was his laptop. Funny enough he had been sitting in the same spot for hours just watching Vinny and not talking. It must’ve been strange for Andy not to pollute the air with his babbling. Vinny probably thought it a blessing, Andy felt like he was cursed.
