PROJECT UPDATE
The project is currently in the scriptwriting phase, and I'm still deciding on the format: whether to release it as a standalone animation or a Ren' Py graphic novel. It's a relatively long story, told from multiple perspectives, so I'm still considering which format to use. A graphic novel is better in terms of workflow, as it doesn't always require animated scenes and can be more efficient. However, it also needs to be more interactive, and there would have to be different game paths depending on the player's choices, which is what makes this type of game so appealing. Animation offers the opportunity to tell the story I want, but I'm a complete beginner, and learning quality animation would take me a while. I'm the only person working on this project, and I haven't even finished my studies yet. This is the main reason why things are progressing so slowly, but I'm really excited about it (and a little sad because it's so personal, and it's the first time I've presented something that's truly mine). This is my story, my world, and I will do what I think is right, but I will do my best to present it as well as possible, even though I am a complete beginner at it.
