Reconstruction of a 1960s apartment block by @tegnestuenlokal in Copenhagen Frederiksberg The Copenhagen office Tegnestuen Lokal suggested a radical renovation of the facade for the renovation of the functionalist prefabricated building from the 1960s. The result is not only to change the building's view of the busy street, but also to provide the residents with communal areas and thus additional living space. A new outer layer of the building is now composed of glazed oriels with a triangular base above the basement, which emerge at an angle from the facade surface like honeycombs in different widths. Inwardly, the bay windows are designed as a privately usable area. They can be reached via the semi-public access corridors.
