I also think it is very important and interesting to note that Logan is literally thinking incredibly logically about the whole romance thing--like to the point where I almost want to say that he's imagining it as less of an emotional thing and more like a disease/otherwise scientific problem that needs to be examined and solved (which is almost 100% the case, but i haven't really seen people talking about it so I want to ramble) He refers to previous romantic endeavors as being experiments, and he's absolutely right! That is a totally valid way for him to be examining the situation, and is very in-tune with how the general populous' "logic" would analyze the situation! Thomas is our test subject so-to-speak (our dependent variable being impacted by the experiment), and the different romances are our different independent variables (they share an overall "type" in that they're all romantic relationships Thomas is in, but the individual circumstances are different) Logan examines the experiment(s), and from the results his hypothesis is something along the lines of "If romantic relationships hurt Thomas, then we should stop pursuing romantic endeavors, because it can save Thomas from further emotional turmoil (thus making him overall happier in the long-run)" It's like...cutting off the spoiled bit of a fruit before it spreads to the rest of the fruit, preserving it for a little while longer, or quarantining someone who's sick to stop the spread of disease!

While all of the other sides seem to judge him for his conclusion, his entire process is very in-tune with the "logical" part of the brain and how it would automatically read into the situation. idk science experiments cool i wish the other sides took the time to understand things the way Logan looks at them
