I wish rr revealed Leo was alive in ToA instead of the end of BoO

The whole scene was written beautifully and the reactions, especially Pipers and Jason’s was a very well-written example of mourning a dear friend but being able to heal and recover from loss.

And the reveal at the end just undermined the whole impact of those scenes.

my own personal opinion is that Leo should have stayed dead. It would have made his sacrifice and the battle with gaea so much more real and impactful.

Idea for the Eidolons that would be cooler than the invisible plot device ghosts is have them be evil doppelgangers, complete with skills and powers. Specifically, seven of them to mirror The Seven.

- Clone Leo can still start the war

- Kansas can be clone Jason and Percy trying a direct attack (and foreshadow Annabeth being afraid of Percy in Tartarus)

- There's so much you could do with an evil clone of Piper who also has charmspeak. Maybe Percy isn't the only one people will be afraid of...

- I think Hazel would probably be the best candidate for a stealth replacement because no matter how fast they realize Percy and/or Frank will kick themselves for not seeing it sooner.

- Clone Frank spies on them for ages disguised as a bug or something. Maybe gets caught inadvertently by a charmspeak command. Or add him to the fight in Kansas.

- Clone Annabeth shows up in Tartarus and tries to convince Percy that Annabeth is the Eidolon after Akhyles because obviously Annabeth would never doubt him, right?

- You could also have the seventh Eidolon copy Reyna or Nico as a twist, either replacing Frank because I've got the least interesting ideas for clone Frank or replace Annabeth to make her feel inferior because she "wasn't worth" copying.

Oh I really hope they included it!). But also we all know what happens next and though I’m excited to see it, I’m glad they didn’t put this in the trailer yet. Anticipation and all that.
