I saw Baxter Fraser is one of your fav characters in s3, and I love him too! Do you have any headcanons for him? If you have already made some for him feel free to just drop that post link too lol
I actually haven’t made any for him yet! I really need to get around to making that master list… But Tumblr has a character limit, so it's going to have to be in multiple posts or something! I’ve got some time off in the summer, so if I don’t get around to it beforehand, that should be a good time to do it!
Anyway! I’m sure I have some headcanons for Baxter! Let me see what I can round up for you to enjoy!
Following the SOMBRA enhancement experiments, Baxter has a hyperactive metabolism, which means he never feels full, no matter how much he eats, as his body metabolizes the food into energy way faster than normal humans. This also means he needs to eat a lot more food and more often than the average person. Likewise, he can’t get drunk anymore because his body processes alcohol too fast for him to get drunk from it
Also related to the SOMBRA experiments, even though Baxter’s enhancements were focused on making him physically stronger, a side effect many recruits experienced regardless of what type of enhancement they were given (speed, strength, intelligence) was that their senses were also heightened. As a result, Baxter is more prone to headaches and overstimulation from how extra intense sounds, lights, and other things are to him
Baxter is surprisingly good at video games, even if he rarely plays them. He loves arcade fighting games and has achieved high scores several times, some scores so high they have yet to be beaten and may never be
He keeps in touch with some Bureau members even though the agency has been disbanded. Marina and, by proxy, Jonah are the ones he speaks with the most, as Marina continues helping ex-SOMBRA recruits break free from the brainwashing and readapt to living their lives without SOMBRA controlling them. Baxter is forever grateful to the Bureau for helping him see the light past SOMBRA’s darkness and freeing him from it, giving him a second chance at life
I always double-take when I see Baxter’s name because an old friend of mine’s surname is Baxter, and for some reason, it always makes me think of him even though these two are FAR from alike!
But even if I will forever associate the two because of their technically shared names, I still love Baxter’s character, and he’s one of my favourites from S3!
