When hunger strikes those we love. Fourth year student Bladimir Aguero messaged me from Paraguay where he is doing his internship, “My mother has nothing to eat in Venezuela.” I responded, “I am so sorry, let’s see what solution God might have.” Brentwood Hills church has worked years serving the people of Venezuela... and also our efforts at Baxter. I contacted their mission committee chair, Perry Moore, who linked me to Chris Fry of the Great Cities ministry. Great Cities has worked for 20 years with our graduating seniors to form mission teams. Chris worked his contacts and food was sent. Alexis Rodriguez, preacher of the Church in Santa Ines facilitated getting the food to Patricia once it arrived in Venezuela. Patricia, Bladimir’s mom wrote, “I want to thank you for the box of food, ... there are no words to describe how happy I am with God for putting people always ready to help.” We pray for the many more mothers who do not have anything to eat. #baxtervenezuela #baxtergreatcities #baxterhungerisreal https://www.instagram.com/p/CEqH2J8pOa0/?igshid=1k2xkoxjxeg2v
