Bay Jump 1/23/2016 (Daiki's New Year, InooDai Singapore trip part) Note: I translated the part from Bay Jump where Daiki talks about how he spent his New Year and his Singapore trip with Inoo. I also translated the part about his niece because it was so cute. Daiki: After Countdown Concert, I came back to Tokyo. I went home to my parents' house and saw my relatives. I gave Toshidama (TN: New Year's gift) to my niece. It's been a while since I saw her and she's sooo cute. She's a girl and I can see her gradually becoming like a girl. It's been a while so when I try to hug her, she cries. She won't let me hug her. Yuya: She says "No, no"? Daiki: Right. Yuya: "Who's this guy?!" Daiki: Yeah, so I immediately gave her back to Dad. Her crying face is cute too, so I wanted to take a photo with her even if she's crying. When Mom told us to pose, even though she's crying so hard, she properly made a peace sign with her hand. Yuya: Eh~ How cute. Daiki: She's so cute. I wanted to get close to her and she really likes shiny things. Daiki: It was a country I wanted to go to. We went to the amusement park. Yuya: Did you see that? The thing that spews a waterfall from its mouth. What was its name? Daiki: We went there. Merlion! (TN: Merlion is a mermaid-lion statue and an icon of Singapore) Yuya: Right! Merlion. Daiki: We went to Merlion Park on the last day. But it was under construction. Yuya: Uwah! Daiki: It was under this net. But there was also a small Merlion. Chinen sent Inoo-chan a message asking him to send him a two-shot photo of me and the Merlion. So I took a picture with the tiny Merlion and sent it to Chinen. Yuya: Does the little Merlion also spew a waterfall from its mouth? Daiki: It does. It's a thin waterfall. Yuya: Did you open your mouth and do it too? Daiki: I did. The waterfall is thin so I also narrowed my mouth and did it. Yuya: How nice~ Daiki: It was fun! We also went to Night Safari.
