Something weird. It looks like Jaidin Lockhart. Anyone see her around during sacanime? Maybe I am overreacting, but she is a pedofile and known sexual predator.
thank you homestuck
when i first heard of andrew hussie i was 14 years old. i was a loner, i spent a lot of time messing around in my room and dropping stuff. my dad did not keep baking me pies, but he did keep giving me books about stuff like politics and economics and math that i still don’t really care all that much about.
now, eight years later, i can’t say i’ve gone on any wild adventures, i haven’t ascended to god tier, and i don’t think i ever will.
but one thing homestuck did give me was the only real time in my life i’ve ever felt like a kid, an adolescent, a community where someone could post online “gonna be at the mall next week show up if ur a nerd” and 30 strangers would show up and have a really great time together. it was so amazing and spontaneous and free and for many of us, nothing like that will ever happen again. i’m 22 now, and people are busy. they have lives, they’ve forgotten how to let loose and just enjoy being together. humans are amazing but we put up so many walls to feel comfortable. walls that, for a short few years, disappeared as soon as we started talking about alien hatesex and being warned about stairs.
i’ll be wearing my aries shirt proudly tomorrow. thank you homestuck. never fucking change.
Literally me and Chelsey will be in Japan town for 4/13 in our cosplays. If you see us, we’re cool enough to say “hi” to. This isn't a meetup, as WE HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND ONE, this is a “welp, this is our good-bye to Homestuck, might as well get one last 4/13 in” plus we have classes and work so i would be really hard for either of us to organize a meetup.
So if you’re in SF and want the possibility of running into two dorks dressed as some trolls, head over to Japan Town after 3:40-4pm. (We get out of class at 2:50 and then have to change/get into our cosplays plus walk there.)
Sacstuck Meetup

I've been having a lot of Homestuck nostalgia lately and is there any way in hell anyone wants to have a 4/13 meetup for people aged 21+? It's on a Monday this year. I was thinking somewhere in Oakland/Berkeley/SF (tbh my first though was Albatross because big tables, popcorn, and the ability to bring your own food) but IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED and wants to nostalge and talk about The Old Homestuck Days I'm open to suggestion. Like really I don't even care if you're current or if you dropped it years ago.
I'm reporting bc I don't think it posted yesterday
So is anyone from the Sacramento are going to fanime? Preferably someone whose been there b4? I want to go and I've got some questions that the FAQ didn't answer.
It's New Year's Eve, and I just randomly saw a Dave Strider at the movie theater. I don't know why I walked outside at that exact moment, but it happened. I was even listening to Upward Movement at the time. Life is incredible
