My other half chatted me up exactly 10 years ago with the question "Did you know the Bayeaux Tapestry is really an embroidery ?", so to celebrate our anniversary I made him a mini one and mounted it in a vintage tin. It's his favourite art work so he knew alot about it and I knew alot about embroidery. A very good match indeed. Bayeaux Tapestry It’s coming home? News flash on the radio suggests that the tapestry, probably made in Canterbury, may be shown here.
