BH6 no longer updating

Hello everyone,

I’m sure most of you already guessed this, but I’m officially letting you know that BH6 AU Ideas will no longer be updating. Unfortunately I have lost motivation to run this blog, and the fandom is quiet enough now that I most likely won’t be getting it back any time soon. I still love Big Hero 6, and I still love this blog so much, but it’s not fair to you guys to leave you hanging, not knowing what’s happening.

Just to clarify, while we will no longer be updating, I am not going to delete BH6 AU Ideas. I love it too much, and I still hope that it might serve as inspiration for writers in the future. So you can come back here any time and search through the posts as much as you like. There will just not be any new posts in the future.

To those who submitted asks or ideas that never got published, I’m sorry. We do still have some messages in the inbox, and someday I may go back and answer them, if inspiration strikes me, but I’m sorry I didn’t answer them before. There were some great ideas that unfortunately just came too late.

Finally, I just want to say thank you so much to all of our followers, to everyone who submitted AUs and comments, to everyone who contributed to BH6 AU Ideas. Thank you to my co-mod, who stepped in when I was completely overwhelmed and made sure I could keep this blog going a little bit longer. Thank you to everyone in the BH6 fandom. This blog started out as just a little spot to keep all of the ideas that I wanted to keep track of in case I wanted to write them, but it was all of you that turned it into something truly special. I will always look back on this blog and my time running it fondly, and I hope all of you will too.

The AU links in the Masterpost don't work. Is that temporary?

Huh. I do not know. It’s never done that before. Give us a chance to work on it, hopefully nothing has been permanently messed up.

Alright kiddies, as you may have noticed, it’s been a little quiet lately at the BH6 AU factory, and I want to apologize about that. The reasoning can be found here, but in short we’ve got a few AUs in the inbox that have just been there for so long we don’t know how to answer them anymore. BUT! Thanks to a friendly anon, we have an idea!

The idea is this; we’re going to post the AU ideas as-is. Without any additions, speculations, or clarifications from us, just showing off your AU ideas as you sent them in. That way all of the messages that were sent in will still be seen, and we can try to clear out the inbox without making you wait anymore!

We know it’s not really ideal, but it’s a method that gets this blog going again so we’re going to try. Sorry about all the trouble folks!

Hello everyone. This is just a post letting you know that I am currently out of town until April, and therefore I will pretty much be on hiatus until I get back. I will see you all soon! -Baymod

Yes we are, just slightly less active than usual. I am so sorry about that. I personally have become distracted with running the @bh6bigbang (which y’all should totally sign up for btw author sign ups close on March 1st), and Megamod has been swamped with school and real life happenstances. So this blog has unfortunately gathered a bit of dust while we’ve been dealing with these things.

I may also be absent for a month starting in March, as I am moving for a while and may not have access to the most reliable wifi. I’ll be back in April, and hopefully Megamod will be able to handle things in my absence, but March is midterm season, and we don’t want to put any extra stress on Megamod if we can avoid it. So yeah, we may go on a bit of a mini-hiatus for March. A March Break, if you will.

But yes, I just wanted to say that yes we’re still here, I’m sorry we’ve been neglecting this blog a bit, but I’ll try to fix that today. Thank you for checking in, and I’m glad you enjoy us!

Hey guys! I just wanted to announce that we’ll finally be posting the winning entries for the Big Hero 6 Anniversary Contest, along with their prizefic, in a few minutes. I’d like to apologize for how long it took, as I’m sure some of you have been waiting. Congrats again to @e-v-roslyn and @bigherosixtysix!

To our runners up, @emmaluluchu and @gummistarr, I’m sorry to say that your prizes aren’t quite ready yet. But I promise we have not forgotten them! They are coming. We are not giving up on this

Hey guys, I’m sorry the blog has been a little dead lately, especially with the 1 year anniversary just happening. Megamod has been a little bit tied up with finals (as I’m sure many of you understand) while I’ve been distracted with the holidays and starting my latest work placement. Hopefully over the next week or so our schedules will clear up a bit and we’ll have a chance to tackle the AUs you’ve sent in!

I think it might be time to update the Masterpost...

I know, I know, it’s actually OVERDUE, but I’ve been having trouble finding the time to go through the blog and record all the new AU tags. It’s been on my list of things to do for AGES, it just seems there’s always other things as well.

Thank you for the reminder though, it’s good to get a nudge every now and again to keep it at the back of my mind.
