Its a nice day for a white wedding // Chelby

Shelby: Shelby had to have nearly been sick at least three times in one morning, if it hadn't have been for Holly then she probably would have done a Julia Roberts and ran away, but Holly made sure to keep a hold of the brunette, Holly had somehow gotten the word out to Estella and Scarlet who had also arrived too. Shelby swallowed down a lump forming in her throat and smiled slightly as Mia held her hand. The girl having helped her all morning to get ready whist Shelby had called the registry office for an afternoon slot, luckily things had gone to her favor. "You are gonna be fine and you look awesome" Mia whispered squeezing Shelby's hand, Holly nodded as she overheard and Harley just screeched at the sight of Cassandra. "You can do this Shelbs...Its not bad, its what you want" she whispered to herself as she came to stand in front of Cassandra.

Cassandra: The blond grinned weakly knowing Shelby was nervous. They both were, it was toxic in the air. Her arms wrapped around Shelby's waist and she pulled her close. "Hey, this is meant to happen. Right? Lets just do it and get it over with so I can run around screaming that you're my wife." She smiled wider placing a tender kiss to Shelby's lips. "Look at Harley, she's ready for the after party already." She winked at the baby in Hollys arms. "Are you ready?" Cassie bit her bottom lip feeling that her legs didn't want to move, not if Shelby wasn't ready. "You jump, I jump jack, right?"

Shelby: Shelby felt like she was going to pass out, Mia sensed this and warily gave her over to Cassandra so that Cassandra could hold her by the waist. Shelby listened to Cassandra and nodded, she stayed quiet but smiled. "I can't wait for it....Its all so terrifying and amazing at the same time" She said softly, Mia rolled her eyes and pretended to gag before Shelby swatted at her playfully as Cassandra kissed her. Shelby looked to Harley who seemed so happy with herself and was squirming to get out of Holly's arms. "Whoa easy, easy" Holly chided but laughing slightly. "I'm always ready" Shelby nodded, "You got it" She whispered, Scarlet smiled. "Good, because I think we can all go in now" she stated turning to look at the other couple who were leaving.

Cassandra: Estella linked her arm with Scarlet's allowing her fingers to caress the woman's arm. She was always fond of Shelby, but her last memories of Cassandra weren't very pleasant, as they had been from when Cass called Emma out on her flirtations over Scarlet. Estella rolled her eyes at the thoughts before leading Scarlet inside to find some place to sit wanting to give the couple some air. "Give me your hand," Cassandra pulled back from Shelby and held her hand out for the woman to take. Once she did, the blond sighed and walked in. "I've waited so long for this day to come." She gave shelby's hand a squeeze as they walked down the aisle. "My bladder is going to explode...."

Shelby: Scarlet blushed slightly as Estella linked her arm, and she looked to her out of the corner of her eye as she smiled, she went along with Estella winking at Shelby to tell her she was doing ok, the girls all knowing how panicked Shelby had been in the car ride. Holly nodded to Cassandra also offering a wink before taking Harley to also go and sit down with the others, Mia stood awkwardly before realizing the others had gone, she quickly took out the flower she was wearing in her hair and went to Cassandra and slid into her hair as a small gesture before kissing her on the cheek and disappearing inside the hall herself. Shelby smiled watching as Mia did that and she knew everything was so right. "I have too, I am so happy we can finally do this. I didn't sleep a wink last night, I just watched you all night and got excited about how we are gonna be able to do that for the rest of our lives" Shelby spoke quietly as the began walking, her steps timid but graceful, her nerves showing a little as eyes were on her.

Cassandra: Cassandra looked up to the ceiling trying her best not to cry, but the tears were forming and her hormones were raging several emotions. "Hey, you." She snapped to the man in front of them. "So how does this work? Can we just quickly do it and save the god speech for a later time and let me just confess myself to this one here, put a ring on her finger and make out with her and call it a day?" She bounced her foot impatiently her mouth babbling with nerves.

Shelby: Shelby smirked as Cassandra snapped to the registrar, the man furrowed his eyebrows, he wasn't used to people rushing him. Scarlet whispered discreetly to Estella about shotgun weddings. "patience" Shelby whispered with a chuckle, the man stood up and sighed trying to avoid contact with Cassandra so most of his speech was directed at Shelby. "Dearly beloved, we gather here today to unite Miss Shelby Corcoran and Cassandra July in matrimony. which is commended to be honorable among all men; and therefore – is not by any – to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly – but reverently, discreetly, advisedly and solemnly. Into this estate these two persons present now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together – let them speak now or forever hold their peace." The registrar said softly intimated by Cassandra, but he looked out to the tiny audience who all glanced to each other, Shelby was so thankful Rachel hadn't been here, knowing something would have been said.

Cassandra: Cassandra rolled her eyes to each word the man spoke. She grew bored, though his last bit made her ears perk hoping no one blabbed against their relationship considering all of the negativity Cassandra had brought into it in the past. "Jesus.." She mumbled beneath her breath counting the silent seconds tick as no one spoke. "Okay, okay. No one thinks other wise so the show must go on." she groaned, sighing heavily. Her head turned to look at Shelby. She inhaled the moment and felt her tears swarm in her eyes again, she tried to push them back down as her moods were constantly changing.

Shelby: Shelby was bright eyed as the man spoke, not even listening to his words but just imaging the future they had round the corner for them, a family, babies on the way....everything, Shelby wanted to pinch herself to see if she was dreaming, she was getting married again and it was on her terms not marrying a jerk because her mother said so, she was marrying out of love and it felt amazing, Shelby snapped out of her little daydream and looked to Cassandra, clocking Mia taking a picture on her phone of them and sticking out her tongue. The registrar sighed and continued, knowing pregnant women were never ones to argue with. "By gathering together all the wishes of happiness and our fondest hopes for Shelby Corcoran and Cassandra July from all present here, we assure them that our hearts are in tune with theirs. These moments are so meaningful to all of us, for “what greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined together – to strengthen each other in all labor – to minister to each other in all sorrow – to share with each other in all gladness. This relationship stands for love, loyalty, honesty and trust, but most of all for friendship. Before they knew love, they were friends, and it was from this seed of friendship that is their destiny. Do not think that you can direct the course of love – for love, if it finds you worthy, shall direct you. Marriage is an act of faith and a personal commitment as well as a moral and physical union between two people. Marriage has been described as the best and most important relationship that can exist between them. It is the construction of their love and trust into a single growing energy of spiritual life. It is amoral commitment that requires and deserves daily attention. Marriage should be a life long consecration of the ideal of loving kindness – backed with the will to make it last. Do you two have your own vows?" He asked.

Cassandra: "I do." she gasped from his long speech, though she found it to be beautiful- even though she would never compliment the man before him. She didn't care too much for any sort of man figure. Always being hostile towards them, mainly because of how much she despised her ex husband. "Where to start..." she paused trying to collect her thoughts. The blond turned her body and took both of Shelby's hands into hers. "Ever since the day I met you, riding in your car blasting Queen, I knew that was then and there that I wanted nothing more than to share my life with you. You are the most beautiful, smart, generous, sexy, (ill spare details,) woman I have ever met. I know kindness, trust, and honesty have been a bump with me in the past but I promise here and now that I will work by your side to create a wonderful life together, me you, and the kids. You're my best friend, besides Holly," she murmured with a soft smile. "I've never loved anyone before. I don't let my heart open like a book, not even to that loser I married before. With you though, love came so easily. As scary as it was I wanted nothing more than to drowned myself in you, in us. I know that its right. I'm not good with words, but i know for damn sure that I love you. I've never doubted that. I want to be that person who encourages you, inspires you, is there for you to yell at- even if I may get annoyed, to cry on, to make love to, to make dinner for, to just live for. I live for you. Before you, Shelb, I wasn't living. You woke me up. Like a breath of fresh air. Youve made me into a better person, one that I can stand being." She bit her bottom lip, and looked down at her swollen tummy, the twins began to kick, and a tear began to fall. 'I just know that every night I want to fall asleep in your arms, and every day I want to wake up to that beautiful face of yours."

Shelby: Shelby couldn't help herself, tears leaked out and she had been trying so hard to hold them back, but Cassandras speech was beautiful and she choked back a sob at hearing what the woman truly felt for her. She held onto Cassandras hands like a lifeline, before the registrar smiled and turned to Shelby, nodding to her...Shelby nodded herself and cleared her throat. "Um.." She sighed a shuddering breath but then found courage in Cassandras eyes once again. "Its been such a rollercoaster for us, but its been a ride that I've not wanted to get off and if I ever found myself off it, I felt like a 5 year old who was being told by their parent that they had to leave the themepark..I never wanted to. You changed my life Cassandra, I came to Ohio and thought that I was starting a depressing, lonely saga on my own and then no I meet you, it was fate, we started on the same day and I talked to you, full or nerves and amazed by your beauty that i just talked about utter rubbish" she paused for a laugh as more tears trickled down her face. "When we started to spend time together, that was when I knew I wanted to be yours forever, you made my heart light up and you were the best friend I had always wanted, and then we became more and it was just utter perfection, you made me get faith back in my life when it was so drastically lacking. I always watch you sleep at night, even if its just for a little bit and I see reflected in you, what I need and want in life. You help me find my confidence and you are the first person to date who can get me out from under my office desk. My love for you runs through me like a raging river, I never wanted to admit it...But I could, because telling you i love you just feels so right and I feel I need to tell you more and more each day" Shelby smiled softly. "I am going to be simple with my words because I suck at speeches and before I burst into tears and say that you Cassandra May July are the love of my life and I want to grow old with you and even if we have to- as we have both led colorful lives sit outside the gates of heaven with you forever...Because thats where I know I want to be" She smiled, swallowing down a sob as she brought Cassandras hand up and kissed it. "I love you" She added softly.

Cassandra: "You're not good at speeches??" Cassandra blinked a few tears falling down her cheeks watching Shelby kiss her hand. "You're going to make me hysterically cry the most ugly cries." she laughed trying to not fall completely apart feeling vulnerable. "I love you. I love you. I love you. A million times I love you Shelby Corcoran." Unable to help herself, Cassandra lept forwards holding her hands to Shelby's cheeks pulling the womans lips close to hers to kiss her so deeply.

Shelby: Mia widened her eyes and laughed. "Guys! I think you are supposed to wait for the line!" She giggled, but was just ignored by the two as Shelby kissed Cassandra back deeply, humming into the kiss, her love for the woman not allowing her to stop herself. "I love you so much" Shelby said against soft lips. The registrar laughed. "Well since the rest of my speech is pointless, I'll ask, Shelby? do you take this woman to be your wife?" He said looking to Shelby. Shelby nodded pulling back from Cassandras lips for air and to answer. "I do, forever and always" she answered with a warm smile. The registrar nodded. "And do you Cassandra take Shelby?" he said looking to the blonde.

Cassandra: "I DO!" Cassandra yelled happily cutting the man off mid-sentence. She felt a sudden urge of happiness surge through her like electricity. "I do. I do. I do." She jumped up and down giggling. She stopped as the twins kicked harshly. "Oh!" she stumbled pulling the ring for Shelby out of her pocket. "I know it's not anything that has been in my family, but I like that, that you can build the memories with this ring. Makes me smile." She beamed taking Shelby's left hand to slide the diamond ring onto her finger.

Shelby: Shelby held Cassandra knowing that the twins were kicking harshly, she bit her lip and looked her in the eyes to see if she was ok. "I do too" she whispered, the grin appearing on her face that she knew never failed to make Cassandra melt. "I love that sentiment and I cannot wait to make new memories with you...Here I have this" Shelby said as she took out a ring herself that she had bought, "and mine is also a new one, because its a new start for us and a new life..so I gave in with tradition" she smiled, loving that they had had the same idea. "Come here" she whispered pulling Cassandra in for another kiss after slipping the ring onto her finger. The registrar shrugged. "You may now kiss the bride....again" he chuckled. "But i now pronounce you wife and wife" He smiled, Mia jumped up out of her chair clapping and wolf whistling.

Cassandra: Cassandra bit her bottom lip trying to without the big grin she wore. Hearing the words slip out of the irritating man's lips made her so happy. She squealed down at the ring, still wearing the old one as well on her other hand. It was a piece of Shelby she didn't want to get rid off, but she loved the idea of a new beginning for them, and it had been. "I love you so much.." she cooed into Shelby's ear kissing her cheek, getting carried away she peppered kisses all over her face. Over any surface she could reach. "My wife.." she squeaked jumping up and down a little more.

Shelby: Shelby laughed as kisses were peppered all over her face, she intertwined their fingers and held Cassandra close, she felt the twins kick and smiled. "My beautiful, amazing wife" Shelby replied kissing her softly, playing with the new ring on her wifes hand. "I love you, and now we start forever together" she squeaked herself, laughing again as Mia came out of nowhere and hugged them both.

Cassandra: "Mia," Cassandra smiled wrapping her arms around the girl. She kissed the top of her head and took in everything that was happening. It was all overwhelming, but in the best of ways. "Wife has such a good ring to it." The blond sighed pulling back to rub her stomach calming the twins down. "With all of their excitement I feel like they could pop out of me at any moment."

Shelby: Mia was ecstatic, she hugged them tightly feeling the strong family link they all shared, it was amazing. "You guys are gonna make me hurl with how soppy you're being" Mia said muffled into the womens sides. "Its so much better than girlfriend, or fiance...Because it sounds complete" Shelby replied to Cassandra, Shelby placed her hands on Cassandras stomach hoping to help in the calming down of the twins. "Please stay put guys, at least for today" Shelby laughed.

Cassandra: "Complete." Cassandra nodded in agreement loving the sentimental sentence. She watched it fall off of Shelby's lips, her heart warming. "and here i thought i was too old for butterflies." She laughed rubbing Shelby's knuckles. "They're just excited. mm, you always calm them. You're magic, babe."

Shelby: "You're never too old for butterflies, I've had them all morning" Shelby said with a small laugh as her cheeks reddened. "They have good reason to be excited, their moms just got married" she smiled looking down to where she was feeling tiny kicks. "I wouldn't say magic" Shelby smirked looking back up to hazel eyes. "I love you by the way" she smiled before enclosing her lips with Cassandra's, managing to steal that little time before everyone came to congratulate them.
