oh my god I did such a stupid
LONG STORY SHORT guess who has a blue ripple skin instead of a ripple gene? It's me. I have the thing. I hecked it up.
Anybody want to buy it for sub-market gem price? Like... 400? 450?

I love it when crim gives me treasure for stuff I just stole out of her pile :D
I haven't been able to log in all freaking day. FR, you gotta fix some shit. This is absurd. Every freaking holiday. I understand that ya'll have been focusing on (some completely understandable, some completely ridiculous) ToS violations recently, but why even bother trying to enforce rules and shit when your site's slow as heck and oftentimes completely inaccessible? I don't know if it's more popular than you expected it to be or what, but ya'll got to keep up with an ever-increasing activity load (what's gonna happen when you open the site up for registration again, if ever?). From a business standpoint, you guys are doing a really crappy job, and it's really frustrating to your consumers.
jokersomerta reblogged your post my preferred exalt names list o/ and added:
I think people in light actually use “Acolyte” for theirs
Acolyte is so cute!!! I actually use phosphorus because I'm a photographer, and phosphorus is a super important part of lighting. :]

I know people give their dergs names based on their flight, but I like to name them based on the flight they originated in, celebrating their roots and stuff. Glittermom loves everyone, no matter where they came from. :3
Flight Rising Drinking Game
Take a drink whenever the coliseum freezes.
Take a drink whenever one of your dragons brings something back from Pinkerton worth less than 50 treasure.
Take a drink whenever Crim makes a truly outrages demand.
Take a drink whenever you have to click on a button just right.
Take a drink whenever you don’t get a single drop from a battle.
Take a drink whenever you see an imperial for less than 5,000t on the AH. (God speed.)
Finish your drink when the coliseum freezes one hit away from a finished battle.
Finish your drink when your dragons throw a one-egg nest.
Finish your drink when shock switch freezes before payout.
Finish your drink when you discover the perfect dragon for your breeding project has been exalted.
Finish your drink and repeat when the site crashes.
I don't think they need to spend money on gems, but I do think gems play a key role. Whether that means playing the gem market and buying/reselling them for profit, making skins and accents, or being willing to grind treasure and convert it to gems to buy the highly gem priced dragons. Getting a pair that is the flavor of the month and being able to monopolize that is a big thing, which can be done with either money type, but is harder to predict.
TUMBLR USER NERDESQFR YOU MAKE A VERY GOOD POINT
Sometimes I forget there are other neat ways to get gems! Especially en mass. A lot of times though, I realize that the same reluctance I have to buy things for the gems I've accrued is probably shared by the majority of FR, so I'm not entirely sure how stable the gem market is (also I'm mostly a FR baby so I'm still not entirely sure about the WHIMS OF THE MARKET).
Thanks friend! :D
In a way, I do think micro-transactions are fairly important. That, and being around longer. I joined with the October registration, and despite all of my coli grinding (I have multiple level 20 dragons now, and try to spend an hour a day grinding), and selling all of my spare items, the most I've ever had was 220k. I'm willing to believe I don't know how to dergon properly, though. lol
STRAIGHT LEGIT HOMIE I have a hard time hanging on to 100k. It's like I pass that mark and I'm immediately like yooooooo buy ALL THE DERGS
I also hoard all of my materials and shit instead of selling them like ONE DAY THERE WILL BE CRAFTING I CAN FEEL IT.
