i think that mabifica is a really interesting case study in fandom? because it pretty much started as a secondary ship mate to billdip and that was the way that it spread primarily, but the people who actually wanted mabifica FOR mabifica instead of as some spicy seasoning to the local ship that was pulled out of thin air so that they could have a Proper Two White Guys Slash Ship TM that was actually uh, a lot more messed up than normal. 

the people who eventually decided that they wanted to ship mabifica FOR mabifica fucking HATED billdip! they were vehemently anti billdip, anti anti anti with all the behaviors that come along with that, which made it super difficult for the two groups to coexist in the same tags and things because technically, the billdips were there first, but the mabificas did not want them there or to have anything to do with their Good Pure Ship 

i don’t know what to make of any of these observations, but they were interesting to think about again

I know damn why he looked so upset when he said how? To bae and that’s because even after this what does bum have? Nothing. The landlady was fed up and he needed to pay rent, so he’d have no home He lived in a very bare place, so he didn’t have a lot of items. Where was he getting money? Did he have a job? Most of his life he was beaten and abused and then even abused sexually, there is literally nothing waiting for him even if he decides to leave And what can bae do? Offer him a place to stay and get him help in an mental institution? He probably would not give that kind of help, and if bum later confessed to murdering then he’d be put in jail to.

Bums already freaked out about the police finding out he killed her, to the point he ducks down and has a panic attack in the car. So it’s no surprise he tries to get him to leave and fights him when bae keeps trying

It can also be so ingrained that if he does let bae take him, woo would find him and kill them both Like towards the first time he tried escaping, the second he crossed the line he saw himself being killed brutally by woo

Then there’s where he was trying to tell that girl that he’d been kidnapped and he needed help, and all she did was look at him with disgust and called him a pervert. He pictured all eyes on him looking like that at him, and that can also push more into his mind that he’s disgusting and no one would really help him
