I literally spent ten minutes just stared at this ask because idk how to answer it. I mean, first of all, I am flattered by your lovely words and I truly, truly appreciate it. It’s the big question (literally & figuratively) that got me thinking hard 🤔
If I'm being honest, in the beginning of my fic writer era (?) I focused more on writing the filthy, smutty part bcs I was simply....... horny 😂 but also because, I was afraid that people wouldn't find my stories "digestible" or that they were too weird or stranger or crazy.
However, I eventually just went "fuck it" and began writing what I wanted to write cause I believe that stories will find their readers yk so to answer your question, honestly, I don't know. I just write what I like, stories that I resonate with and stories I want to tell and just go crazy with it (I mean, it's called fictions for a reason ☝🏻)
But if there's one that you can take from my rambling is that there’s a place for crazy beautiful writings and people who would read it. Don't worry about the technicalities, you'll learn as you go and grow as a writer and you'll eventually find your own writing style (honestly speaking, I'm still on my search 😄)
So my advice is...... if you want to write, do it. Share your beautiful strange creative ideas with the world and who knows that writing is your passion all along, it's not too late to find out. 😊
