I headcanon that nephilims took mostly after their human parents since the other parent is celestial thus do not have a human body to pass on their kids (and their grace just invent/make up/whatever/bullshit the other set of genes). So imagine a mini sammy with Luci's personnality (though he is much tammer thanks to sam).

A little snarky, mop-headed boy with little pudgy cheeks (but can we say big blue eyes bc COME ON) who takes things way too seriously and tends to pout a little too much when he doesn’t get his way... 

But think of how much empathy that kid would have. He’d be able to look at a person and just understand them and their feelings without even thinking about it. He’d always know the right thing to say, and he’d be so outspoken if he ever saw injustice. 

Think of a little baby nephilim at the playground with his daddies, and he sees some little boy tug a little girl’s ponytail and, while Sam and Luci just look on in complete bewilderment, their little tot marches right up to the bully and tell him to apologize, and when the kid comes at him, he just shoves him down right into the sandbox before going to comfort the crying girl. ｡^‿^｡

I think Sam has been wanting to raise a child with you, Lucifer. He's imagined it. A tiny little kid with brown hair and icy blue eyes that's bouncy and giggly sometimes, but pouts with little puppy eyes when he doesn't get his way. Always very loving and cares very much about his daddies ❤

lucifers son in diaper walking around town smiting monsters, stealing candy, petting animals and playing violent games. when he upset he cry so loud an earthquake happen. sam and dean and cass so tired cant catch up. luci is so proud.

You see? This is exactly why Luci needs to father his child. Who else is gonna stop the kid from causing tsunamis when he’s upset?

Lucifer getting emotional over the whereabouts of his child makes me think he genuinely cares, and not in a 'my baby is going to be so evil' kind of way. Maybe this child will be the thing that makes Lucifer finally accept humanity and love them above God and he will be redeemed? Or maybe that's all wishful thinking. I don't want anything to happen to Lucifer or the baby...

I’m honestly sitting here praying that Mark and the rest of the cast are playing us hard again (although, how often do we get that lucky?), and the finale will be a shocking redemption episode. Because if anyone can show Lucifer what it is to feel love (other than stubborn ole Sammy), it’d be his baby.

Do you think the nephilim choosing Castiel to protect him may have had anything to do with the remnants of Lucifer's grace left in Castiel? Maybe that's why he considers Castiel trustworthy?

Ah, yes - this was definitely one of my thoughts from the get-go. Maybe he can sense his Daddy, and it brings him comfort. Whatever is going on with this baby and Castiel, I don’t think it’s nearly as straight-forward as it seems, and I have my doubts that it’s going to turn out well for any of us.

Hey so I saw your post asking about the green screen, I thought he was just tracking Cas that's why he said "my son" because now that Cas is all powered up he can take the baby anywhere to be born so why not some random safe environment

Hmm... maybe. The quick clips from the finale seem to show them being in an outside environment. So yeah, maybe Castiel took Kelly and the baby somewhere far from the reach of humanity, and now Luci is out scaling mountain tops to get to them. Wouldn’t be the worst of ideas.

Little samifer family thing: in some lores, lucifer was also the angel of music, i would find it cute that their kid also like music too. and maybe they would make a song together for sam's birthday or something like that :3

Just think of Sam’s disbelieving expression as Lucifer and their kid start singing to him, Lucifer eventually growing quiet, a big, proud smile on his face as he looks between Sam and their child, listening to the little tyke sing his heart out for his daddy. 

And Sam listens to the end, and then applauds them and picks up his tot and pulls both of them into a big hug, kissing both of their cheeks in turn and telling them it was the best birthday gift he’d ever received. <3

So imagine this kid, he is so pure between his soul and his grace bright as lucifer. And Sam felt unworthy cause he thinks he is dirty or something. And lucifer reassures him that his soul is beautiful as Sams

Is might be wrong of me, but I think that Lucifer would see Sam’s soul as being even brighter. I mean - this kid is his spawn, sure, but it also shares half of its biological makeup with a normal, unclean (to Lucifer) human. Sam is literally the other half of what makes the Morning Star what he is, and is therefore made to shine just as brightly. 

I’m sure Sam would argue, and I know Lucifer would never think of his child as impure or unclean, but I still think he’d be adamant that no human soul has ever shone as beautifully nor as brightly as Sam Winchester’s.
